It would be best if you bough one. Then you could specify the lens and the price. But if you just have general knowledge about the prices for various Sigma lenses, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have a Canon Rebel G (SLR) and was wanting to make the switch to a DSLR, but was wondering if the lenses from my Canon SLR would also work on a Canon DSLR (which would save me a couple hundred bucks).
Any thoughts?

I have a Canon 20D digital camera and am looking to buy a Canon EOS 70-200mm 2.8L USM IS lens for it. Any suggestions for a reputable store that offers good prices and value and that is preferrably a Canon authorized store or reseller that offer Canon USA warranties?

Review
Praise for Creative DSLR Photography:

“Those who take their digital photography seriously will find the book an invaluable guide.” Steve Bavister, photographer

Praise for Chris Weston’s MASTERING YOUR DIGITAL SLR:

“I would have purchased Chris Weston’s MASTERING YOUR DIGITAL SLR simply for its photos. Just looking at the book makes the reader want to get up, get the camera, and begin shooting, but most how-to books on photography have beautiful pictures, and many times they can be sparse on content. I found that this book has both good content and inspiring shots.”

“This is the best digital photography book I have bought. The writing is very clear and full of tips. I especially like the topic on exposure compensation and white balance and certainly benefit a lot from the book while exploring the features on my Canon 350D. The pictures are very good (beautif (more…)

i just learned my brother in law has this DSLR and uses Sigma lenses. He showed me some of his images and they were amazingly good. All the pros in this category stick with Canon or Nikon, but are the other brand DSLR like this Pentax very popular? I was just curious. Thanks

I have a film Canon EOS300, with a couple of lenses. Is it possible to use these lenses if I upgrade to a Canon DSLR?
Also, do any other DSLRs take lenses from older film cameras?
