DSLR Comparison reviews
Jan 23

I have a Canon Rebel G (SLR) and was wanting to make the switch to a DSLR, but was wondering if the lenses from my Canon SLR would also work on a Canon DSLR (which would save me a couple hundred bucks).
Any thoughts?

Certain lenses (depending on the mount compatibility) from SLR cameras can be used on DSLR cameras from the same mfr.
The Rebel G works great with IS lenses, and everything except Canon’s EF-S lenses for small-format digital cameras (or the ancient FD lenses for manual focus cameras that went obsolete in 1986).
