    That could take a while.
In the meantime – why not check out the manufacturers websites and they will give you all the information you want.
    Nikon
    Canon
    Fuji
    Pentax
are a few names to start you with.
you could also try Http://www.dpreview.com and look at their camera and lens reviews.

You want to hear ALL the different kinds of lenses explained?
That would take a little booklet….
Each piece means some specification of a lens. Looks like you’re talking about Nikon glass, since I see some unique Nikon related “codes”. You may find this page useful in describing what all the different letters mean on Nikkor lenses:http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/nikorte…
Please keep in mind that Ken Rockwell (author of above referenced site) is a very qualified expert in everything Nikon, so his technical points are usually good and valid, but when it comes to conclusions – he’s very subjective and has some very radical and controversial opinions on many things, so do take his advice with a grain of salt, if you happen to wander into other areas of his web site.

You don’t ask for much, eh?
An f/3.5-5.6 is a zoom lens that has a minimum f-stop of 3.5 when zoomed out, 5.6 when zoomed in. If you don’t understand f-stop and aperture, you’ve got a ways to go before anything else will make sense.
VR are lenses that reduce vibration. So you can probably step the speed down to 1/30th or 1/15th of a second without camera jitter, depending a lot on the focal length.
    AF usually means auto-focus.
