You’ll find what you need at http://www.rugift.com/photocameras/adapt…
The literature says it will allow focus to infinity. Its $45.00 USD.

Several companies make an adapter that will allow you to mount MC/MD glass to a Maxxum mount (which the Sony dSLRs use). It’s a bit expensive, about $150 or so, but they crop up from time to time on eBay.
Try to find one that does not have a conversion factor, as these will tend to make your old Minolta glass REALLY long on the Sony.
Look for something like this (although this is apparently a 2X, which would make your 50mm Minolta something like a 150mm prime…http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie…

I would recommend going to your local Digital Camera Store. Or local eletronic store, I suggest not to go to walmart, target etc. Best buy, Radio Shack would we best besides walmart and target. So it is best to go to a store all about eletronics. Hope that was somewhat helpful. Your camera sounds very nice too :)

I would imagine that the only people that could help you with this question are the fine folks at http://www.dyxum.com/ it’s the largest Minolta/Sony forum out there. Someone will have the answer there.
