    Tamron AF-28-75 2.8 lens
I am very happy with the results I have gotten from this lens. It worked well on both daytime and night flash racing photos.

    Full-time lens
This is my favorite lens right now. I do a lot of portrait photography and this lens is really the optimum lens for every photo I take.

Very nice upgrade to Canon midgrade lenses
I bought after having 17-85IS canon and others 50mm 1.4 and 70-200IS f4. I reviewed the internet extensively (fredmiranda, Dp review, Photozone).

    Cheap Build
I guess you get what you pay for. It takes great pictures but after just 4 months the plastic around the tip of the lens cracked. Now the hood doesn’t fit on properly.

    Early impressions of this lens
I am very pleased with the early results I am getting with this lens. I am using it on a Canon Rebel XT. With the 1.

You get what you pay for. The lens does a good job in low lighting. I prefer to stick with Canon lens, due to the quality and reliability.

    Good Quality/Great Value
This lens gives me better overall results than my Canon EF 28-135 kit lens that came with my Canon EOS 40D.

    Excellent lens, but…
This is the second copy of the Tamron AF 28-75mm Di lens I ordered, both copies had front focus issues.

I can’t find a problem with this lens. Less than a 1/4 turn zooms from 28mm to 75mm smoothly and precisely. Zoom lock and autofocus switches are easy to use on the fly.

Maybe a bad copy, focus issues and soft pics
I am sure there must be better copies out there but I was not impressed. The pics it took were amazingly soft which I did not expect.
